JEN & MORGAN :: WEDDING STORY

Rustic, elegant, vintage and so very sweet n personal. The Barrel House in Lexington. KY made for the perfect backdrop to this lovely wedding.

I absolutely LOVED all the personal touches Jen and Morgan incorporated into their wedding. Everything from Jen's grandmother's wedding lace wrapped in the bouquet and in Jen's hair to the boutonnieres, bouquets and all the centerpieces that Jen and her mom made. I also loved that Morgan was just as involved in all the wedding planning and helped with the design. And finally I loved Jen and Morgan's positive spirit throughout their whole planning process. Jen had a bit of a mishap during a volleyball game, tore a muscle in her leg and it was very questionable as to whether she would be able to walk down the aisle. Rather than letting this dampen their spirits they decorated the boot she had to wear during the reception and made the best of it. Thankfully her leg healed enough so she could walk to meet Morgan during the first look and walk down the aisle.

Hope you enjoy their photos as much as I enjoyed shooting this wedding.

Thank you to Meg Wilson for second shooting this wedding with me! Check out more of her work at www.megwilsonphotography.com
