I love any wedding that places a strong emphasis on the importance of family and friends. This incredibly touching wedding was no exception. I still remember when Melissa and I met for lunch to talk through all the details of their day and trying not to tear up when she told me that Tom's 10 year old son was going to be his best man. I mean, how sweet is that?!
This wedding was filled with hugs, sunshine, a hilarious and sweet best man speech, incredible Thanksgiving dinner by Dupree's Catering, tears, laughter, a wonderful close knit family and a couple's last dance surrounded by friends and family holding pink breast cancer awareness balloons. Seriously one of the most memorable endings to a reception. I was trying so hard not to cry at the end when all the guests encircled the couple for a giant group hug.
Melissa and Tom, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day. I have loved getting to know you and hope our paths cross again in the future.
